But can you train your inspiration to come up at the certain times you set to write? What if you suddenly feel the inspiration in the middle of the day? Would you start writing, or simply obey the routine you had auto-imposed upon yourself at -am?

If you set up a certain time and space, your inspiration will train to show up then. It becomes a habit.

It's handy to have a notepad to write down things when you can't take the time to start writing a full story right there. You may find that your imagination becomes "on" all the time, which is delightful. Again, write when you can, take notes when you can't.
